The Book of Prophecies is the Keeper of the Gateway to the Future. Though the Future, with its many different
pathways, is difficult to reliably foretell, our panel of prophets are able to periodically glimpse through the
Gateway. The price they pay for these visions is very high and carries most to the brink of insanity.
Therefore, together with Etherealness, we are developing several defensive mechanisms to combat the Gateway's inherent dangers. However, the
prototypes are not expected until the next millennium, and we are urging all sentient beings to focus the bulk
of their energies on the present.
